Fuel expenditure represents a substantial proportion of operating costs which directly affects an airline's bottom line, regardless of its size or location. It is essential; therefore, that staff are fully trained to ensure the fuel management activities are optimised, especially in the current environment of record high oil prices.

Equally, oil company and other service partner personnel can benefit from training to enable them to better understand and meet their customer needs and objectives.
