Indian Oil Companies Raise Jet Fuel Costs Indian state-run oil firms raised jet fuel prices by 6%, marking the fourth time in two months they have boosted fuel prices due to rising crude costs. Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum raised aviation fuel price by Rs 2,306 to Rs 38,558 per kiloliter in Delhi effective today. The move immediately triggered speculation that Indian airlines will likely raise fares in response, news reports said. |
