China Aviation Fuel Conference Update…
China’s Aviation and Energy Industry’s Top Officials
to Meet with Global Leaders

At the upcoming International Aviation Fuel Conference, the Chinese officials and business leaders from aviation and energy industry will meet with global business leaders to discuss issues of importance for the growing aviation fuel industry. The conference and exhibition is being co-hosted by Armbrust Aviation Group (AAG) and China National Aviation Fuel Group Corporation (CNAF) will be held in Beijing, April 4 through April 6, 2012.

Already to date, senior government officials from Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and State-Owned Assets Supervision & Administration Committee of the State Council (SASAC) will be in attendance. In addition, high-level officials from International Air Transport Association will also participate in the conference and deliver a speech, including: Mr. Raymond Benjamin, Secretary General of ICAO; Mr. Andrew Herdman, Director-General of the Asia-Pacific Aviation Association; Mr. Hemant Mistry, Director of Industry Charges, Fuel & Taxation of IATA (who will chair the airlines CEO session).

Global oil industry leaders that have confirmed their attendance include Mr. Sun Li, President of CNAF; senior leaders from China oil majors; Mr. Steve Westwell, Executive Vice President Strategy & Integration, BP Global LLC; Mr. Andy Holmes, CEO, Air BP; Mr. Xinsheng Zhang, President, Shell Aviation; Mr. Iwan Hartawan, CEO, PERTAMINA.

Global aviation industry leaders that have confirmed their attendance include senior leaders from Chinese major airlines; Karl Rupprecht, member of board of directors of Lufthansa Cargo; Mr. Scott Davis, President and CEO of UPS.

In the next several weeks CNAF and AAG will announce additional prominent speakers including those representing aircraft and engine manufacturers who will discuss current and future improvements to fuel saving efficiencies. A special Alternative Fuels CEO Session will be held to present the latest developments in worldwide efforts to create alternative BioJet. Finally, numerous concurrent aviation fuel technical and operations sessions will be held with the details and speakers to be announced soon.
